Jodie's image, Bentley - on the inside,  gave me the inspiration for this card.  When something is broken, eaten or missing we know one of our beloved pets committed the crime...but no one's talking.  I married Bugaboo's  Bobblehead Farm Dog and Bobblehead Farm Cat.  I think they make the perfect pair!

I really like this sketch.  It's headed to my archive files as a favorite.  I'll blow off the dust at some point and use again.

I did a card almost exactly like this a few weeks back.  I sold the card and missed it so much, I had to make another one, but this time I used the darling Fancy SB Girl - Thanksgiving from Bugaboo Stamps.  As a matter of fact, by the time this post today, I hope the recipients have received it. I love this DP from DCWV - Harvest Gathering.  It's hard to see, but it's textured and the trees are gold foiled.  My turkey is coming from Bucky's BBQ....yum yum! Used an old stamp and SU markers, hoofed a few breaths on it, and got the pretty leave on envelope.

Elizabeth Bell is such a talented Australian artist.  I love that she now has digital images for sale.  While following her work, I discovered Elphine House of Australia.  I am very excited to participate in my first challenge with them.  EHA - Challenge 10 - Sketch.  Yup, a sketch to follow and use an Elizabeth Bell stamp or digi. When I am down in the dumps, there are several good friends that help lift my spirits.  I could also say, " You lift me up when I am down, You lifted me up, Thanks for the Lift, Flying by to say hi"...you get the picture.  Doodle Pantry is having a challenge and making this card was perfect timing.  I used their DP ant balloons digi image. I tried to keep it unisex.  I LOVE these ants.  I prefer them on paper rather than ME !!!! ( I've been working with shading and wanted light coming from right. Practice, practice!))

I made the balloon and it's shadow svg, and used DCWV Luxury Pack along with my copics, stitching and SU punch.

NEW RELEASE TUESDAY

Getting in the holiday spirit !  WORD NOEL, from Bugaboo Stamps, came at the perfect time!  A chose to create on a vertical easel card using non-traditional holiday colors.  I added faux stitching along with my real stitching.  I also combine PSE painting along with my copics.   I used my new EK Christmas ornament punch and made some hooks for two extra baubles.  Ho Ho Ho on over to Catch The Bug to grab some inspiration on WORD NOEL.

I think most everyone has begun smelling cinnamon, allspice and pumpkin pies these past few days.  Yup, it's that time of year. I am going to make Pumpkin Scones today...wish me luck! Artish at Paper Pretties has done such a lovely job with our 2 new releases, Peter Pumpkin Pie Eater and Thanksgiving Cornucopia.  Yup, each comes with at least 2 sentiments.

I totally CASED Marie at Joyful Stamper.  If it ain't broke, don't fix it.  I have an invite for an early Thanksgiving turkey lunch so instead of sending a "thank you" card AFTER the dinner, I thought I would send the "thank you" BEFORE the dinner.  I really enjoyed making this silly, delightful card for my in-laws.

The challenge is to make a pocket card.  Something I'm new at.  I used Turkey - Knife and Fork from Bugaboo Stamps. There's Nothing Better Than...

...to end a bad day covered in dog slobber!!!! Yup, it was just one of those "not so good days" for me yesterday.  I pulled this quick ditty of a card together to make myself smile.  This stamp is so old I can't remember where I got it.... other than at my local AC Moore's or Michaels.

The center pup is colored differently, cut-out and has pop-ups for dimension.
