Smore Fun with you

Hello everyone!!!

I totally cased this card, but don't remember who.  I'm sure it was a DT member from Lawn Fawn.  I bought this Love You Smores set along with the Woodgrain Background drops set.  However, on a few, I stamped, scanned and took into Silhouette, enlarged and then did a print and cut.  I made some to be gender neutral and some feminine.  I also used Stitched Party Banners from Lawn Fawn.

A2, colored with copics, sting, circle die and banner die

I enlarged this image and then pint and cut on my Silhouette

Dog Gone Happy Birthday

I bought 5 Art Impression sets at Michaels awhile back and finally able to play with them....that dog is so silly.

I stamped him, then scanned him, then pulled him up in my Silhouette Studio and did a print and cut, but not before using some patterns in the program to add to the parachute.  I tried making this gender neutral.  I colored him with copics and the rest are all die cuts and cloud punches.  I think the sentiment can be used for other celebrations besides birthday.

A2, more homemade enamel/plastic dots

Cowboy/Cowgirl Wedding Card

I'm just now getting around to posting this wedding card.  Laura, a friend, needed a cowboy/cowgirl wedding theme card.  She gave me information and this is what I came up with for the card.  She said the bride and groom loved it AND I wound up with some extra business...how about that!

I'm having a senior moment, and can't remember where I got the svg cut file....was it Silhouette Store or SVGCUTS...I can't remember!!!!

Doodle Pantry Tuesday Release Day "Triple Valentine"

Starting in January 2015, Doodle Pantry changed things up a bit with new releases...instead of once a month, Laurie is now releasing 2 - 4 new releases each Tuesday with the 3rd Tuesday offering fun cut files (SVGS).  Also, each Tuesday, those releases just for that day will be offered at a 25% discount.  Let's not for forget the Ants in the Pantry Challenge each month which has a theme.

Now to my card....I used the new release called "Card Cut Hearts" file set.....so many many different cut files in this great set.  I also used the new release "Valentine Mice" and a wonderful older set "Heartful Hearts".  It was easy, quick and a lot of fun to make!

No.10 envelop, pop-ups for dimension, pearls, MB bow die

If you look closely the word "thanks" is written on the candy heart each is holding

You make my winter a little warmer

2nd Posting Today!

OKAY...we haven't seen the first snowflake here in South Carolina, but we are having our fair share of cold cold cold!  Not only do I think the From the Heart Stamps Little Snowman image is darling, I just love the sentiment that came with it.

I followed the sketch for Challenge #94 but I just couldn't do the twist...monochromatic.  I love them, but this little card still needed a little pop so I gingerly added the lime green.  I'm also entering this little card in the progressive Monthly (January) Challenge at From the Heart Stamps.

Loving Cows for Mary Hannah

I saw these adorable Loving Cows (from the Silhouette Store) that Sue created and knew I had to case for my grand daughter.  It will be one of her Valentines.  I made two for her: one to hold, tear up and carry around.  The other can be displayed and then put in her memory box of cards.

Off to the beach tomorrow till Sunday, but my husband and dogs will keep the "home fires burning" and secure.  We have security and security cameras in the house.  I can go on my phone or IPAD at anytime and see what the puppies are doing...haha  I can usually find my DH napping in the den chair with the puppies sleeping on top of him.

just an angle view...forgot to some the sentiment and cute hearts on the back

From the Heart Weekly challenge

Yup, waiting till the last day again.  I'm still so busy.  Walking and exercising takes up so much time...haha

From the Heart Challenge #93 with a twist (birthday) is only hours away from closing.  I love the sketch to follow.  With the cool sketch and great image, nothing else really needs to be added...well, that's what I think anyway...lol  I'm using Sick Chick.

Bath Tub Ants - 2nd card

As promised, here is the Bath Tub Ants set from Doodle Pantry that I used yesterday.  I changed the paper and the sentiment.  I think it is a "happy" card.

Bath Tub Ants

Hi there!  It's Tuesday, which means some new releases at Doodle Pantry and you can purchase the new release sets for 25% off that day...but that day only...so hurry and go take a looksy! Remember, we have our 1st Ants in the Pantry Challenge in full swing.

I'm using the adorable pre-colored Bath Tub Ants set.  I myself, love a good soak in my Jacuzzi in the evenings.  With the cold days and nights we have had lately, it's perfect for warming up my old bones....haha

Using a swing card I made in Silhouette, I used the same image but didn't papers and sentiments. So, I'll show you one today and the other tomorrow.

Copics for flowers and shadowing, MB die, string, pop ups, homemade dots

Birdbrain Snowman and friend

Alas, my youngest child left to return to college.  The house feels so empty when he leaves....that means happy place time to help fill the void....my craft room and time to catch up on last minute challenges.

This is Birdbrain Snowman from From the Heart Stamps.  I'm entering it into their Challenge 92, sketch with a twist.  I have a few friends that sentiment can "so relate"...how about you???

A2, Lil Inker rectangle stitch die, copics, sickles, plastic snowflake

Black and White : Cut It Up Challenge

My son will be returning to college tomorrow so I will be working a little harder on card making and exercising.  It will also help me stay out of the kitchen.  I take no meds, eat right, and exercise (walk, swim, lift weights, stay active) yet I'm told I am a high risk osteoporosis female after results of a bone density test and have moderate 3rd stage kidney disease!  What!  Humm...let's take those tests again.  I feel great and just a full pounds over my weight.  I weigh in at 135.  If the doc wants me at 128, then I'm up to the challenge. More walking and less elliptical and swimming (and sodium) right now...need more low impact.  Calcium test was great...bad genes the doc says.  HAVE YOU HAD YOUR EXERCISE TODAY!!!

I enjoyed making this card....getting back to my roots sorta.  The black and white is so generic so I could almost put any type of sentiment.

I cased this card from Vicki Mears I found on Pinterest.  I'm entering the card in the Cut It Up Challenge: Black and White.

A2, MB flower die, spellbinder Marvelous die, Little Inker rectangle die, ribbon, Stampin Up "always" stamp

I continue to work on whites when photographing

Lady Bug Hugs

I accidentally deleted my post on this card.  I'm posting again, but keeping the message short.  I'm using the Lady Bug Hug set from Doodle Pantry.  Each Tuesday there will be new releases at which time you can purchase for 25% on that day only.  We also have a new challenge and theme so join us at Ants in the Pantry Challenge #1.  You could win a $15 gift certificate. Yippee!
