I'm a shade late....

My 1st daffodil of 2015 in our new house.  Daffodils have been blooming for a month.  Mine are just catching up!

Boy oh Boy, am I forever late getting some birthday cards mailed. I need to make about 10 of these.  I tried to keep this very gender neutral.  All images came from Doodle Pantry. (see below)

A2, I MUST find my clear easel. I do so apologize for the paperclip....very unprofessional

Stampendous "Happy Birthday" stamp, homemade enamel dots, string, copics for shading
pre-colored lamp from the Doodle Pantry Ageless Antiques set
cupcake from Birthday Birdie
sentiment is stamp from Clear Dollar Stamps

  2. Wonderful cards Cely.
At least with your daffs being late to flower you get to have them when everyone else's have passed over :o)

  3. Your daffodils must be late because they're new. They just needed a little more time to get established but I bet next year, they'll be right on time!

Beautiful card! I haven't played with that die in awhile.

My trick is using temporary adhesive when taking pictures of cards that refuse to close. Then I just take it off before sending!

  4. We have a couple flowers just starting to peek out of the ground. It's nice to know there are some somewhere. Very cute card Cely! Love the layout. And you can't go wrong with Doodle Pantry images! Have a wonderful week!

  10. We're square up, Cely -- I got my raised beds planted but I have no daffodils. I guess I'll have to get some bulbs and put them in. I had them at my old house but haven't put any in here at the new house. I love that photo and it makes me yearn for their bright spring-time, yellow smiles. :-D Delightful card.

  11. Pretty daffodil. Ours have been up for quite some time. but we have had a very mild winter. No snow and very few days of frost. Like the say spring is coming up this week.. so what.. LOL.. I love the card and the paper clip..LOL. it's so hard to take a photo with out it on those special folds. I love the layout. Awesome card.

  12. I never noticed that lamp had red fringe! Love that fancy fold. I don't have these dies but understand I can make it without...need to spend more time on youtube!! Gorgeous daffodil. I've had two so far....already cut by the girls and adorning my kitchen table.
