Agapanthus

Never knew the name, spelling, nor the pronunciation of this lovely flower.  It is awesome when it blooms.  My friend Harry, from Charleston, was kind enough to share some of his plants.  I can't wait till next year to see them bloom in MY yard.

I used a very old wooden stamp by Penny Black.  I used White Pearl Embossing Powder, but it looks more clear to me.  Anyhow, the rest is self explanatory.  It will be a thank you card.

A2 vertical, there is a peach border but in pic it looks pink, stitching, ribbon, twine, eyelets wet embossing powder

Angle view, I embossed some more agapanthus but used blue glitter

  3. I've had agapanthus in my yard for more than 25 years, Cely, and when I moved last year, I dug up some of them and brought them with me. This is such a fabulous card and I love the eyelet trim you used. :-D

  5. Yes, it does look see through but the effect is very pretty. Just enough contrast. Such a lovely thank you.
