All girls have dreams.....

.....yup...even witches have hopes and dreams I guess....haha

I omitted the sentiment until an occasion arises.  Some options are: the witch is in, thinking of you, wishin' and thinkin'...you get the picture..lol

This darling image was a freebie from Beccy.  The image is called Witchy-Wreath.  The post before it is a black/white version. She's a very talented artist. She opened a online store.  Beccy informed be the image will always be free. I've always loved this image, but never used it. Now the time is right.  I made the flower using a punch and inked the edges. The flash of camera made the glossy accent on her hat look weird.

UPDATE:  Beccy now has a monthly challenge so I'm entering my card at September Challenge 1.
A2, stitching, Cheery Lynn scroll and flower accents dies, Spellbinder nestabilities, MS leaf punch, pearl and crimped the  spellbinder cut.

Halloween scene (purple) 2nd posting today

The first card really looks good in person..I promise...haha, but in the photo the white shutters sorta stick out and look out of place.  Sooooo, just for you and to satisfy  my curiosity, I made another card but changing the background and using black shutters and with different stitching.  You will find I will never do the same card exactly like the last...it's against my nature....lol  I don't want you to judge but just enjoy the different effects.  Thanks for dropping by my little blog.

Halloween time......

...it's just a fun time of year to be a little silly and enjoy the atmosphere of hayrides, apples, corn mazes and cool looking candy (which I will post tomorrow).

I think I covered 3 different companies and their dies.  Impression Obsession - Halloween Hill, Memory Box flowers and fence, and Poppystamp windows and shutters. Oh, and my own homemade horizontal brick embossing folder I distressed.

This was so quick and easy.  I lost the webbing on the shutter...oh well and it's hard to see the distressing on the shutters.  All in all, it was fast and fun to do.  Here are 3 different angles attempting to show you the dimension using lots of pop-ups.  It will require an extra $.20 stamp.  Well worth it!

WITCH PARKING

....All others will be toad.

I've seen this little sign all over blogworld and I've giggled every time, so I figured I might as well employ the little sign too.  I saw a stamp with this scene.  I brought it to my card using Impression Obsession fence trio, a Rubberneck Stamp, a Silhouette witch cut and my own homemade broom svg, along with some distressing using SU ink.

A2, stitching, pumpkin embellishment, string for sign

Ahhhhh....candy corn!

Gosh...I love candy corn!  Thank heavens I can't get it year around.

What's wonderful about Doodle Pantry images?  EVERYTHING!  This particular image comes b/w and color, along with digi papers and sentiments for just $3.  Heck, when there's a sale, it's cheaper than that!!  This set is called Candy Corn Ants.  I'm entering this little fella into Doodle Pantry September challenge...just in the nick of time....talking about the deadline...whew!

A2 vertical, I added stitching after photo...oops!  Cheery Lynn fence die, Ms Web punch, $1 bat punch, candy corn paper clip, EK pumpkin punch, copics, and pop-ups for dimension and spider webbing

Homemade Doggie Cookies

I started making homemade dog food for our two small doggies about 2 months ago. Soooooo, I started thinking....why not homemade treats especially after I saw Jan's cookies on her blog, Peanut Butter Dog Treats.  It's a lot easier than making the homemade dog food, but it's worth making both.

My husband is generally a good, willing participant. He's been the most excellent sous chef in all my undertakings...lol

I guess I should had shown the doggies gobbling up the cookies!

Never More...Never More

Do you have so many card ideas in your head and frustrated that you know there is absolutely no way to make them all before the season...as with Halloween cards? Each year I add more embellishments and images and even svgs so my card projects grow and I don't get them all done.  There's always next year right?  I have enough for 10 years and never repeating a card....haha  How about you?

I CASED one of KittieKraft's Halloween Galore Halloween card....and I'm sure I will CASE her other one...lol  The only thing different is adding my stitching and a few bats...ok...I had to use a different fence, but it's totally her idea and sketch.  I used the Rubbernecker Crows in Trees.  The 2nd card, the image was on white paper so I distressed the background using shades of orange and a mottled blue and leaving a little moon accent along with some tiny bats. Oops...almost forgot...I used Memory fence and cemetery dies.

A2, SU inks, glossy accents on birds, lots of pop-ups for dimension between the 3 layers, and of course, stitching...haha

FREE Broom Rides

There were so many sentiments I could have used!  I did several of these quick cards and will use a variety of different sentiments.  I used my horizontal window svg...which is for sale...just check the tab at top of page.  I honestly can't remember where the rubber stamp of witch came from...if you know, let me know so I can give credit.  I used copics to color her cape different colors.  The idea is that you are "in the house looking out". The striped wallpaper background is "real Ralph Lauren wallpaper"...haha  My friend Celeste at Touched By a Butterfly sent me some wallpaper samples a few years back.  I'm still keeping it CAS (clean and simple).

Chocolate and Friends

I LOVE CHOCOLATE!!!  Skip the Godiva and give me M&M's!

I started out finding a picture at Inking the Night Away.  She had a post from Elizabeth Kratzer.  I wrote both ladies, but not waiting to hear back, I started making my own svgs and using some circle and flower punches.  What should had taken 30 minutes using punches turned into 4 hours and then there were still boo boos.  Not to bore you, but my morning went downhill from there for most of the day.

The girl opens up so I can write a note...changing my mind from a shaped card.  I know you have had days like this.  But since I haven't made a card in over a month, I should had expected disaster!

A2 size, body opens for sentiment, stitching, glossy accents above eyes, inking, my own svg for body, and mouth

No bones about it....

(inside)..... your improvement each day is amazing!
(inside).....  we really miss you!

I made several of these cards but using different sentiments for special family and friends.  Except for the sentiment, it was done with dies, svgs and a punch.  I used Memory Box fence and tree, Scrappy Dew skeleton svg and Stampin Up window punch for the sentiment.  This is a pretty plain card by my standards, but since I haven't made a card in over a month, I started out CAS (clean and simple).

A2 vertical, lots of pop-ups for dimension, googly eyes, glitter on cane, stitching
