Sending Treats to You....

My son, being at college, loves care packages.  He told me to be sure to include a bag of candy corn.

I just love this silly, adorable image I bought last year from Digi Doodle Shop.  The online store closed its doors for good on Oct. 3.  What a shame!

Pat, at Stamp, Paper, and Ink, inspired me and helped me with the stamp template.  Unfortunately, I didn't have the Fiskars Stamp scissors so I made a template for the edges of the stamps on my Silhouette Cameo. I plan to CASE her beautiful Poppy card, but in the meantime, while I was already working on the Halloween card, I thought "Why not incorporate the stamps in this card?" And, here it is......haha

A2 vertical, copics, DCWV paper, SU window punch, candy corn paper clip embellishment, stitching

  2. Hey Cely. thanks for stopping by my blog. I miss you girl. Great Halloween cards you have been making. Love that Cherry Lynn Twig wreath. I'll have to look into that. Have a great day and I do think of you often.

  3. Perfect for your son's care package. I've sent a few of those in my time. While they have all graduated from college they still expect care packages from Mom every once in a while. LOL! I just love those candy corns jumping into the bag. Perfect for this card. I bet the stamp took some time. Kudos to you for mastering it.

  9. Nope DianeL...I doubled checked. Laurie at Doodle Pantry did not draw this. The image was from Digi Doodle Shop which closed its doors for good on Oct. 3...what a shame! However, thank you for your concern, errors are made and I doubled checked because I want to give credit where credit is due.

  10. Well aren't you on a roll. The stamps are wonderful. I've been wanting to do that myself but have been too cheap to buy the scissors - they only come in a pack of 5 and I don't want all 5. Anyway, FYI, I'm in college too and LOVE care packages ;)
