Still looking.... (plus freebie Leo svg)

...for that road to clear skies and warm weather!
I "re-did" the Bugaboo bear stamp.  I wanted to try using scrap from a button package to use as the shaker part of the card, add the sentiment on the picture rather than adding later and keeping the background exactly the same and I wanted to send about 3 of the cards to friends.  There are still a few kinks to get out, but I'm enjoying the challenge.  And, this card will be in the Catch the Bug Monday Challenge to help celebrate Bugaboo's 1st birthday.  Requirements: use blue and white.  I think the first one I did the other day is more do-able in the mail and will not cost extra postage.  I'm going to try and do another card for the challenge between my coughs and sniffles.

A2size, svgcuts background, snowflakes (Hobby Lobby) MS snowflake punch.

I am still working on the zodiac symbols.  These 2 were free public domain images.  I cleaned them up and made into svgs.  I wouldn't make them smaller than I have them.  Each one only has two pieces.  A quick cut for a great school project or birthday.

  1. Even sick you have been busy!! (with great results I might add! :-))

OK you need essential oils for your cold and cough. (my hubby is like you right now too and this helped him). Buy Eucalyptus, Lemon and Lavender essential oils in a healthfood store. Mix 2 drops of eucalyptus and 2 drops of lemon in 2 tablespoon of honey. Use 1 teaspoon of this mixture in a cup of hot water (or tea) and slowly sip.
Put 1 drop of Lavender and 1 drop of Eucalyptus in a bowl of boiling water. Put you face above the bowl and cover your nose and the bowl with a dishtowel to keep the steam inside (and keep it from going into your eyes). Take nice slow breaths. Take breaks every now and then breathing outside of the "tent". This might make you cough more on the spot but should quickly pass.
In the winter I often put a drop of Eucalyptus oil at the corner of my pillow at night...

Hope you feel better very soon! :-)
