Pumpkin Cupcake Welded Card

Paper Cupcakes Challenge is to use die cuts and Cupcake Inspiration had a cupcake inspirational picture.  Wow...I'm right at home with that request.  I took the lovely pumpkin cupcake image I bought from Paper Cupcakes into SCAL and welded it to a A2 size card.  I made a die-cut from the image, but I can't share that with you since it is not mine.  The svg is mine, but the original image is not....sorry! I used my copic markers, a MS punch, an embellishment, and did some sewing.

Other challenges:
Simon Says Stamp: Punch it
Fab n' Funky: Clean and Simple
A Spoon Full of Sugar:  Let's get punchy

Thank You..... and reindeer svg

Thank you everyone for your kind and thoughtful comments regarding my "Fight for the Cure" challenge card on October 26.  Some of you may not know, but I just learned earlier today that my card was chosen for the "special sponsor prize" of a Pro Marker set which was a special donation by Creative Craft World for Catch the Bug (Bugaboo stamps) Challenge ....something I never expected.  I will use them to make beautiful cards and remember the beautiful people that forever touched my life.  And let's all continue to fight for the cure.  As Catch the Bug said, "pick a cause and stand by it,  make someone aware of how these issues affect us and how we can bring attention and awareness to our cause."

Now....the freebie reindeer svg.  This came from an older punch I had and it "had seen its better days.  It was just a matter of time before the old girl was going to give me her last punch"...so I thought I had better make an svg so I continue to have some reindeer.  Do not make it any smaller than it already is and be sure you have a sharp blade and a good sticky mat

Santa and sleigh (svg)

I must have had a "senior moment" because I accidentally erased my list of svgs that I had in the left column of my blog.  Evidently on Blogspot, there is no forgiveness for errors and no way to retrieve my lost list.  I will start over again as of yesterday's svgs...oh well! Not everyone has this list, but it makes it easier for people to find an svg quicker.

Here is the Santa and sleigh svg and I will post the reindeer tomorrow.   I do not recommend making the Santa and sleigh any smaller that what I have sized.  I made 5 of them.  I prefer the sleigh that has the attached rails. This size worked well for my A2 size card. (This was a free public domain jpeg image but I changed a few things and cleaned up to fit my needs as an svg.)

...and to all a good night! + freebie

I made this card per request of several followers.  They want a card illustrating each svg I offer.....haha....can't always do that due to time.  I really didn't want to post in hopes I could use it in a future challenge, but I can always change it a little.  This is the same window from yesterday, but I "stretched" it to go horizontal.  I added acetate for window effect, did some inking, my sleigh svg, welded some trees from www.svgcuts.com set called "Winter Bliss". I will offer sleigh tomorrow and reindeers on Saturday. I used pop-ups for dimension on reindeers and trees.  I put the snow on the "inside"of the card since you are suppose to be inside the house looking outside. ( I used my holly svg, a punch for flower, bling for center of flower and glitter pen.) I'm happy!

Addition and CORRECTION to Yesterday's Window

.......I forgot to give you the outline of the window.  The outline must be cut first on your card.  You will have to strategically line up on your Cricut.  (Use white scratch paper to practice.)  The window can be cut out anywhere.  Here is another view below to show the pieces you will get.  I will post again in about an hour a card I did but turning the window horizontal.  I will give you that window freebie svg at that time.

Fight For the Cure! (2nd posting today)

It's not a flashy card, but it represents a personal challenge, not just the Bugaboo Challenge which is "Just Cause" challenge .  The ribbons represent family and friends I have lost THIS year!  I could not pick just one cause for the card.  I just shook my head in sadness each time I had to add a ribbon to the card. I've lost some beautiful people.....I'm sure you have too.

Lets "Fight for the Cause"

Image was free from Bugaboo Stamps.  Size: 5" circle

Who's that tap tap tapping at my door?

I so enjoyed Edgar Allen Poe stories growing up.  I had no intentions of making this card, but I saw My Crafty Life's blog (my inspiration) and I had a bunch of left over trees sitting on my desk....so this is my simpler interpretation.  Of course, I never have the svg I need...so I had to make my own door plate with keyhole and why not add some blood while I'm at it!  Mistletoe yesterday and blood today....do you see how my mind jumps around...drives my husband crazy!!! I used a free hemlock svg from svgcuts.com , lot of inking, MS punch and googly eyes.

Mistletoe freebie and Card Challenge

I'm behind on svg freebies, but I'm also very behind on some cards I NEED to make.  It is so hard to make sympathy cards due to death.  Please send me some ideas or a pic of your card that you have made for this theme.  We really need a challenge for this theme.  I think it is the hardest one of all.  Any takers out there???
I'm not totally please with this card, but I gave it my best.  I think I made the image too small. ( Kind of a copy of Starry Night by Van Gogh style!)  It is for the Stretch n' Bubbles Challenge (Creative Chick), but I can also used it for the OWH challenge as well.   Anyhooo....

Size: A2  ( Van Gogh style...haha)

Mistletoe popped into my head and I didn't see any mistletoe svgs that I liked so I made my own.  How did a ball of fungus with a pretty bow become such a popular  kissing tradition.

Download:  mistletoe  (svg)

My suggestions: Don't cut out the black marks...just pencil them in.  I only added one to the svg. Don't bother with the black dots on the white berries...just use a black pen to mark a dot. I'm sure there are prettier bows out there.  I did my best to limit the cuts but still make it work.

NO LION......

.......I MISS YOU!!!!( written on the inside of card)   Yup, wanted to make another card for challenge at The Character Cafe using their free little lion image.  Cheryl1st was my inspiration.  I can also post this for the OWH Challenge Sketch #40.  Arsenal:  copic markers, brads, flowers, gems, sewing, MS punch, other punches, and inspiration!)
Yes, will be back later today with one more card and an svg.  Rainy day...soup and scrapping kinda day!
Size: A2
Other sentiments for inside:....I'm Sorry, ....I really didn't mean to miss your birthday, etc.

Pumpkin Cupcake Tag

I just adore the cupcakes found at There's Magic in the Air with Paper Cupcakes.  They have a free one that ends tonight.  My sister's birthday is on Thanksgiving Day.  The challenge at Paper Cupcakes was to make a "tag".  Perfect...need one for my sister's birthday present.  I used copic markers, circle and scallop punches, ribbon, gem, pop-ups for dimension and the image. Tag opens up!
I still have one more to do tonight for Stretch n' Bubbles....don't know if I'll make the deadline and definitely didn't make the svg for you, but I'm working on one for tomorrow for sure.
Size: 3"

Side view to see that tag opens up.

Enjoy the Moment

I haven't used this little House Mouse since I bought it several months ago...shame on me! I was working on the Character Cafe Challenge and after finishing my card realized my plan was to use one of their adorable images.  My mistake!  Hope I can still entered this in their challenge.  I have one more card to finished by end of day and finish an svg...hope that happens! (Stitching, flowers, punches, image, brads, gems, button, copic markers and Celeste's real wallpaper)

Ho Ho Ho...ly Eggnog!

I fell in love with this cute image from The Character Cafe.  I bought it and joined their challenge.  I scraplifted the sentiment from Nancy, one of the DT members.  Thank you Karen.  I discovered a pearl missing from a flower "after" taking the pics, but it's now fixed.  Anyhooo, I sewed, added pearls and jewels, button, a tag and ribbon and colored with my copics. OH...and some puff paint for the whip cream atop the eggnog...haha  The holly svg I used is my freebie for today.  Five other challenges are listed below.

Christmas Fairy

I love this set of fairies from Pollycraft.   I scraplifted the colors from Pollycraft DT member Paula.  What a beautiful job she did!  Several challenges called for "purple, green and one other color".  I pulled out my trusty sledge hammer for the brads to hold the ribbon. I used copic markers (favorite coloring medium), glitter,  and embellishments of a snowflake and pearls on my easel card.

Challenges:
Pollycraft: purple, green and one other
Penny's Challenges: As long as it flies
Anything Goes Challenge: Ribbon
Crafty Ann's Challenge: 1 digi and favorite coloring medium

You're As Sweet As Can BEE !

Bugaboo is having a challenge with the theme "Sweetest Day".  I have yet to win 1st place and receive 7 of their images.....wouldn't that be awesome!  Any howwww, I was putting up my honey jar from the beach trip and thought of this card.  Of course, I didn't have the honey jar or honey stick svgs so I had to make them.  Why is it that I start on a card and don't have the right svg? ( I used svgs, glitter, brad, stitching, Bugaboo butterflybee bear image, dot embossing folder and an easel card.) There was another challenge I was going to add this too but can't find it at the moment...just my luck!
I got my flu shot today and it stung like a bee too...haha!!!
Other challenges: Fabnfunky challenges, Create 4 Fun, Stampin Moments,  Penny's Challenges (as long as it flies) Cute Card Thursday, Mark's Finest Papers, Alphabet challenge "Y" is for yellowDrunken Stamper (food...hope honey can be consider food)

(Will offer "honey stick" tomorrow)
I would enjoy a comment if you enjoy the svg!

Pirate Girl and freebie

The image is from Stretch n Bubbles for their progressive challenge.  Little hard to work with since I have hurt (perhaps broken) finger, but it was well worth it for the great time I had at the beach.  I was going to do a pirate hat for the card and realized I didn't have a pirate hat svg....so after making the card, I made 2 hats.  They are simple ones, but will serve the purpose.  I'm still unpacking from the beach.

First Snowflake "Frame It Out" + Freebie

(CORRECTION:  I ACCIDENTALLY POSTED THIS CARD LAST NIGHT THRU A TYPO WITH DATES.  I WAS TRYING TO TYPE IN OCT. 13 AND THE "3" DIDN'T TYPE.  SO, THE POST WENT OUT TO A FEW FOLLOWERS BY MISTAKE!)

I have enjoyed my purchased images from Paper Cupcakes.  They also post a freebie each Monday. The challenge is to "Frame It Out".  I used a "faux" window (acetate sheet over window) to frame it. You look through to see the snowman en"joy"ing the first snowflake of the year.  The window "svg", I think is from Images by Heather M.

Flower and pot svg from Svgcuts.com, holly punch, metal snowflake, glitter pens, specialty white paper, and sentiment from Stampin' Up.

I had the cutest idea using my Peachy Keens faces with my iron, but I'm "pressed for time" since I'm leaving for the beach this afternoon.....corny but that's me!!!  (If you make the iron too small, then just draw on the steam iron vents.)
Download:  iron (svg)

If you choose to download, please take of few seconds to share a kind word.

Warm Wishes and Smiles

Cooking meals ahead of time for the beach crew so I can enjoy myself at the beach too....don't want to be stuck in the kitchen the entire time.  I made this card for several challenges.  It is monochromatic... I used all "E" copic markers. Yup...challenging!! For some of the other challenges, it has ribbon, bling, digi image, punches, real sewing, and Fall colors.  (If time, I will try to do an svg this evening.)

Eye of a newt and toe of WHAT!@#? + FREEBIE

Several challenge cards I've been working on.....The first card is for a cute little challenge at Bugaboo "Anything magical" (including potions and witches) and Stretch-n-Bubbles.  The image is free through Monday.  I "scraplifted " the darling sentiment from another challenger.  It really got me giggling! I could use a few giggles right now.  I'm still dang tired from the kitchen fiasco!  I used copics, glitter, stitching and an eyeball for the center of the sinister flower. (Click on the picture to see close up of that adorable frog.) Also for the challenge at  Something Punchy Challenge at Stamp Something.

Size: A2

The second card is for Spyder's Corner Challenge and I used her adorable free image.  I continue to enjoy sewing, copics and glitter with flowers and badges on recent cards and cards that are quick, clean lines and easy.

I'm so far behind on making my svgs, but I will try to do some more toward end of week while relaxing at the beach. Yup, headed to my other "happy place'...the beach for about 4 days.  Next week, I will be back into full swing of things with my card crafting.

Snowflake Christmas challenge

I have 3 challenges I want to do before the day is gone (so I'll try to also post later this evening).  I am still cleaning up from the kitchen project.  The snowman is a free image from Paper Cupcakes and their challenge is HERE.  I cut him out, made an easel card, attempted to have the snowflake in mid-air, used sparkles on gloves, scarf and flakes, glossy accents on the buttons and puff paint for the snow at his feet. Strange....it's 85 degrees here and I'm sweating while finishing this little fellow.....haha
